How to Fix Jio SIM Not Registered Network?
Please relax if your device displays “Not Registered on Network” for your Jio SIM. I’ve included a comprehensive guide to resolving the problem in this tutorial. In the telecom space, Reliance Industries made a huge splash and completely outperformed its competitors. You will get chills from the Jio plans, offers, and freebies.
Fix Jio SIM Not Registered Network:
Solution 1. Enter flight mode
The ideal option for turning off a mini SIM card is flight mode. When you switch the flight mode ON, the device acts as a mini switch OFF, disconnecting the SIM cards from power. When you switch the flight mode OFF, the device will identify the SIM networks and display the network.
Solution 2. Set Jio SIM as Default for Mobile Data
You must first set Jio Digital as your default SIM for internet mobile data if your Jio SIM is not receiving any signals.
To accomplish this, just open the settings and search for SIM Cards, SIM Management, Edit SIM, etc. Here, choose the Jio network under mobile data/internet (set preferred network as LTE/4G). There’ll be a full Jio signal visible.
Solution 3. Set Network as 4G/LTE
If you have already tele-verified your SIM and yet not getting the SIM working then check whether you have set the mobile network as LTE or 4G. To do so –
- Open the Android Settings on your device.
- Navigate to Wireless and Network, then tap on More.
- Choose Mobile Networks/Cellular Networks from the menu.
- If you have a dual SIM device, select the SIM card you want to configure.
- Look for the option labeled Network Mode or Preferred network type, and click on it.
- Choose the LTE or 4G option from the available settings.
- Restart your phone to apply the changes.
Solution 4. Set APN for Jio SIM
If the APN is not configured automatically, manually adjust the settings by setting up a Jio APN. Navigate to Settings > Mobile Networks > Access Point Names to make the necessary changes.
Watch Video for more information on APN settings.
Conclusion:
Inspect the SIM card for compatibility with other devices. If your smartphone continues to experience issues despite completing all troubleshooting steps, consider conducting a soft reset on your device.
